Start a career helping others with hands-on training in CDI College's Massage Therapy 2400 diploma program.
Use your hands to heal while this full-time, 96-week intensive massage therapy program prepares you to become a valued, well-paid member of the healthcare community.
Massage Therapy Diploma Program
In the program, you will learn from experienced instructors with years of experience as massage therapists. In your courses, you'll begin developing fundamental massage skills, including hydrotherapy, palpation, remedial exercise, and patient assessment. You'll also get to explore different types of massage treatments and pick up an understanding of medical topics, including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology. In addition to practical skills, you'll receive a strong background in professional topics, such as industry ethics and professional communications.
Under the supervision of a registered massage therapist, put your newfound knowledge to practice through a clinical internship and an outreach program, which will help you obtain valuable work experience via externships needed to excel as a massage therapist.
Upon graduation, you'll be ready to find work in various locations such as private clinics, medical and rehabilitation centres, hospitals, spas, cruise ships, and fitness facilities or become self-employed.
