Social Impact

CDI College campuses participate in a number of community and charitable events including, but not limited to, Pink Shirt Day, World Heart Day, and local food drives.

In 2019 and 2020, CDI College collectively raised nearly $13,000 through fundraising and charitable work in the community. Over the past five years, CDI College has collectively raised over $70,000 in monetary donations and over 11,700 items for local food banks.

Pink Shirt Day, an annual fundraiser for all CDI College campuses, strives to eliminate bullying across the globe. T-shirts are sold by donation to support awareness of this cause.

World Heart Day – celebrated on September 29 every year – is global campaign to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease. CDI College campuses support this cause by selling bracelets by donation, initiating bake sales, and more.

In June 2018, CDI College’s Edmonton North campus raised more than $13,000 for Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) during the 6th Annual Massage-A-Thon. The money raised will help SCARS continue their mission of reducing the number of homeless animals in Northern Alberta. In June 2017, CDI College’s Edmonton North campus raised more than $12,600 for the Firefighters Burn Treatment Society at a 5th Annual Massage-A-Thon.
