The same situation can affect people in very different ways. The challenges they face are often shaped by many factors, including family circumstances, living conditions, support networks, personal experiences, and available resources. In social work, understanding the whole situation is essential to identifying needs and contributing to appropriate support.

Looking at the bigger picture makes it possible to consider all the factors that may be influencing a person's circumstances rather than focusing only on what is immediately visible.

These skills are developed in CDI College's Social Service Intervention – JWW.0V program, where you will learn to assess situations, understand people's circumstances, collaborate with different partners, and contribute to appropriate interventions with individuals, families, groups, and communities.

CDI College's Social Service Intervention – JWW.0V program helps you develop skills in situation assessment, helping relationships, communication, and collaboration with different partners.

Through hands-on training and three practicums totalling 690 hours, you will have opportunities to apply what you learn in settings that reflect the realities of social work while progressively developing your professional judgment.
