The Christmas decorations have been tucked away & we are ready to start a new and exciting year at CDI College Red Deer Campus!

We have been lucky with the weather, but winter isn’t over.  Here are a few reminders to keep you safe during the next few months:

- Make sure your extension cords are in good repair (check for fraying, ensure ends are fully attached & unplug before driving away)

- Clean all snow & frost off your car windows before driving

- Take it slow, it’s slippery out there

• Smile - it helps you to relax which helps your immune system

• Drink plenty of water.  Keep water beside you & be amazed how often you take a sip

• Get a good night’s sleep.  Your body can do a better job of fighting germs when it’s well-rested

• Eat fruit.  Even frozen fruit is delicious in a smoothie and your body will thank you!

• Get some fresh air.  Even a short walk will do wonders for your mental, emotional, and physical health
