There will be classes on Monday, August 6 as it is a Civic holiday, not a statutory holiday. Students are required to be in class.
Our Westerner Days in Red Deer always begin with a parade for adults and kids. Our Campus Director, Mike King, came up with a unique "guerilla marketing" idea to create awareness for our new campus. He and our BAM (Business Administration Management) students wrapped water bottles with CDI marketing literature. Then, using small wagons, the students distributed the water bottles to thirsty parade goers along the parade route.
