Leucan Shave Head Challenge at the Quebec City Campus

May 28, 2018 | Quebec

The Leucan Shaved Head Challenge is a major fundraiser of Leucan that engages the community in a spirit of solidarity to provide services to cancer-stricken children and their families as well as providing financial support to the clinical research. Participants in the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge must put a price on their own head to raise donations from people around them: family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, etc.

Students and staff of the Quebec City campus have decided to take the challenge this year and the event will take place on Thursday, May 31st, starting at 2 pm.

On this occasion, seven of our bravest people will go under the scissors to raise funds to help children with cancer:

Sabrina Turgeon, the campus’ administrative assistant, and her daughter Keyra Turcotte, will donate 8 inches of hair.

Stéphanie Calder, a student form the Programmer Analyst / Internet Solutions Developer - LEA.9C program, and her daughter Loralie Trottier, will each donate 8 inches of hair.

Emilie Hamel, an instructor of the Early Childhood Education - JEE.13 program will donate 8 inches of hair.

And, as a sign of support, Eric Vancampo, an instructor of the Network and Internet Security Specialist – LEA.AE program, his son Mathéo and Pezhman Mohsenlou will have their heads completely shaved.

Please participate or give generously. You can donate at www.webleucan.com/EricVancampo
