Practical nursing students have a reputation to uphold both inside and outside of the classroom. As healthcare professionals they must maintain a level of credibility and trust in order to work with their patients, fellow nurses and other members of the healthcare team.

When trying to establish a reputation, students and recent graduates should review their Facebook accounts and favorite social media sites to make sure nothing can potentially affect their chances of landing a job. Practice good written communication. Avoid typos and grammatical mistakes in written communications - including text, email and web chats.
