As part of its community outreach program, CDI College presented a cheque for $2,000 to the LaSalle Hospital Foundation yesterday to help the foundation with its mission to improve the care and services offered to LaSalle Hospital patients through the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

CDI College maintains a strong partnership with LaSalle Hospital as, from January 2019 to December 2021, there were 59 groups of CDI College students who completed their internship at LaSalle Hospital for a total of 295 students. In addition, LaSalle Hospital hires approximately 40 students each year as a result of these internships.

CDI College has a long history of community involvement and is always looking to support the communities where its students and employees live, work and study. CDI College campuses in Quebec regularly participate in a number of community charity events such as Pink Shirt Day, World Heart Day and food drives.

Last year, CDI College donated $5,000 to the LaSalle Hospital that was used to purchase an incubator for premature newborns.
