New hospitality training programs available at campus locations across British Columbia
Vancouver, BC – April 11, 2012 – CDI College has launched
three new career training programs designed to meet the demand for
professionals in British Columbia’s exciting hospitality industry. With
new opportunities always arising, employers are investing in trained
professionals, like CDI College grads, to help take their businesses to
the next level.
Growth in the hospitality field means employers
are looking for passionate and skilled individuals to manage their
guests’ experiences. The new Hospitality Management program
allows students to develop these skills in under a year, including food
service, leadership, sales and marketing, and financial management.
Upon completion of the program, graduates will not only receive a
Hospitality Management diploma, they also earn an American Hotel &
Lodging Association (AHLA) diploma, giving them even more credentials to
help start their new career. This well-rounded program provides
students with the knowledge to succeed in a broad range of hospitality
settings.
Did you know that more than half of BC’s hospitality
employees work in the Lower Mainland? This means that students can train
and work in the communities they live in - CDI College’s new
Hospitality programs are available at campus locations in Vancouver,
Burnaby, Surrey, Richmond, Abbotsford and Victoria.
Today’s job options in the hospitality business go beyond restaurants and hotels. The Hospitality Operations diploma program
offers students a wide range of career paths, from cruise ships and
amusement parks to spas and casinos. In just 31 weeks, students learn
the business management skills employers demand to supervise their
complex services and facilities.
For those with limited time, CDI College designed the Hospitality Certificate of Specialization
so students could gain new skills, grow with their present employer or
advance from a job to a career. In 15 short weeks, graduates gain the
housekeeping, front office, security, and computer system skills
necessary to quickly enter this fast-paced industry.
Trained
by industry-experts in small classrooms and on-the-job, graduates of CDI
College’s hospitality programs can help launch successful careers both
locally and abroad in restaurants, hotels and other hospitality
settings.
Applications are now being accepted for all three Hospitality programs at all British Columbia campuses. For more information, or to learn how you can get started, fill in the form to your right.
