Surrey, BC – November 28, 2012 – CDI College in Surrey is now accepting applications for the Practical Nursing program. In just a year and a half, students will be prepared to write the Canadian Practical Nurses Examination (CPNRE) exam and become productive members of a healthcare team in BC.
The hands-on teaching style at CDI College helps students connect with the material and prepares them for the tasks they’ll face on the job. Graduates of the Practical Nursing program agree that their education has helped them excel in the field.
“I’m a tactical learner. I need to be doing something to help me learn it,” says Richard Jepson, CDI College Practical Nursing grad. “It’s good to have the book learning, it’s good to listen to teachers lecture, but applying all three helps people learn better. It certainly helped me.”
It also helps grads pass their CPRNE exam on the first try. The most recent graduating class of Practical Nursing students from CDI College will enter the workforce will their heads held high. Graduates from the Vancouver campus achieved a 100% pass rate on the CPNRE in September 2012 thanks to their hard work and dedication over the past year.
