Learn how you can make a difference in your community by training at CDI College

Mississauga, ON – April 3, 2012 – Addictions and community service work is an ideal career choice for those who want to make a difference in their community. CDI College’s Mississauga campus will host an Information Session about the campus’s new Addictions and Community Services Worker program on April 11, 2012.

According to the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities website, the employment outlook for community and social service workers in Ontario is positive, with the bulk of positions found in non-institutional health services such as community mental health centres, addictions clinics and group homes.

The Info Session on April 11th is an excellent opportunity for prospective students to learn more about the new 52-week Addictions and Community Services Worker program. They’ll be able to chat with instructors about the curriculum and learn about the types of jobs available for graduates. In addition, they’ll hear from keynote speakers from The Compass, a local community service agency in Mississauga, and Renascent Rehabilitation Centre in Toronto.

Guests at the Info Session will also have a chance to, tour the campus, chat with Admissions Representatives and other campus staff and learn about tuition and student financial aid.
