Personal Support Worker Info Session

November 3, 2015 | Ontario

Looking for a rewarding career in healthcare? CDI College’s Mississauga campus is hosting an info session for aspiring personal support workers this Friday, November 6, 2016 from 12 – 1pm.

Personal support workers are always in demand and there is no time like now to join this rewarding field. According to statistics released by the Personal Support Network of Ontario, approximately 7,000 people train for a career in the field each year, yet 9,000 leave the profession annually.

CDI College has invited staffing solutions specialists from Carecor Health Services to join us on Friday to share insights into the field and how the service provided by personal support workers can have an impact on the lives of those affected by disabilities or chronic illness. Carecor Health Services has been operating over 30 years, seeking well-trained, experienced healthcare professionals for its clients. If you’re a graduate from CDI College’s Personal Support Worker program, a current student, or you’re interested in pursuing a career in this field, drop by on November 6 at noon to learn more!

CDI College Business Technology Healthcare’s Personal Support Worker diploma program offers a comprehensive curriculum that combines classroom theory with hands-on training to ensure graduates have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their career. As part of the program, students will have the opportunity to hone their skills in a clinical placement in a long-term care and home care facilities.

Join us on Friday, November 6, 2016 from 12 – 1pm at the Mississauga campus (33 City Centre Dr., Unit #280) to find out how you can become a personal support worker in less than a year! Click here to RSVP today.
