Are you a current student in our Graphic Design, Social Media Management, or Social Media and Web Marketing programs? Here's your chance to win a $1,500 award and use a combination of the skills you learned in class!

How to Enter

Create and publish a viral video and send the public link of your video to social@cdicollege.ca by 11:59pm on July 22, 2022. Make sure you mention CDI College in your video or in the description of your video.

You may not use any CDI College Trademarks unless you gain prior permission to do so. Please read the CDI College Vlogging Guidelines for more details. Your video must also be approved by CDI College prior to publishing.

Categories you can submit under:

• Tutorial Video - Tutorials, Tips and Tricks, etc.
• List Video - Top X, or Best X etc.
• Challenge Video - Take on a social challenge—but make sure it's safe.
• Behind the Scenes Video - Whether it's vlog style or staged, take us on a journey into something you're passionate about.
• Interview Style Video - Interview one or more people in your community about an interesting topic.
• Animated Video - Tell a story using animation.
• Skit - Tell us a compelling story.

You have a higher chance of winning if you submit behind-the-scenes documentation of your video creation process.

What's at Stake

You can choose to work alone or work in groups of up to three people from different disciplines at CDI College in the following programs in all provinces except for Quebec: Business and Digital Marketing, Business and Digital Marketing Management, Business and Digital Marketing Management with Co-op, Graphic Design, Graphic Design Technology, Social Media Marketing, Social Media and Web Marketing, or Social Media Specialist.

Each individual winner will get a $500 gift card of their choice up to $1,500 total for the group.

Award Contest Timelines

The award contest opens: 9:00am on July 15, 2022.

The award contest closes: 11:59pm on July 22, 2022.

Winner(s) will be selected by a panel of Judges by July 29, 2022.

Winner(s) will be contacted by August 1, 2022, and will have until August 26, 2022, to claim their prize. If the winner(s) do not claim their prize by August 26, 2022, they will have forfeited their prize.

Note: This award opportunity is available to students at CDI College only. The video could also be part of your classroom curriculum. Please connect with your instructor about this if you have any questions.
