Books from Your Peers: Why You Should Read and What to Read

Tuesday, May 5, 2020

Reading books is a great way to spend time, and it offers many benefits, including stimulating the brain, improving abilities in comprehension, reducing stress, and improving the quality of sleep. Some of the top CEOs in the world manage to read, on average, 60 books a year! It may seem like a lofty goal to read that many from the start, but by simply reading for 15 minutes a day before bed, you could complete at least five books this year.

You may be thinking, "I already read for school." However fatigued you might be, there are books of all genres available to suit your interests. A good novel or non-fiction biography will help you reduce stress and reduce fatigue.

Choosing a book can be another daunting task – between Bill Gate's annual reading list and the New York Times' Best Sellers – there are too many books from which to choose! Don't worry; we're here to help. Why not take some inspiration from your peers at CDI College?

The following books were submitted by the participants from our last social media contest, which asked CDI College students what they're are currently reading.
