Looking to make a positive difference in your community? CDI College's Assistance in Healthcare Facilities program teaches students the techniques and methods they need to provide effective support to people living in residential care and other assisted living facilities.

Students receive in-depth training from industry-seasoned instructors in order to develop the skills and competencies needed to function in healthcare jobs.

Prerequisites
To be admitted to this curriculum, student must meet one of the following conditions:
  • High school diploma or its recognized equivalent OR
  • Be at least 16 years old on the 30 September of the school year and pass the third secondary units in first and second language, as well as in mathematics according to the programs established by the Minister OR
  • Be at least 18 years old when entering the program and have the following prerequisites: past a general development test and the FRA3034-1 language test or recognition of equivalent learning.

NB The requirement regarding simultaneity is not applicable to this category.

Graduation
To graduate, students must obtain the required pass mark in each course.
This program is 43 weeks in length.
