Job Description
The Manager, Academics, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs will assist in researching the processes and requirements for program approval and in preparing submissions for regulatory bodies. The Manager, Academics, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs will assist in new program and course development and existing program evaluation, accreditation and course revisions. The Manager, Academics, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs will also respond to campus-wide requests for program and curriculum information and to maintain administrative correspondence with partner organizations and institutions. This position is responsible for monitoring the application of both internal and external policies and procedures that address regulatory compliance, addressing all student complaints and liaising with provincial regulatory bodies.
General Qualification

• Should be bilingual: English and French

Specific Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP Academics and Regulatory Affairs, the Manager, Academics, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs is accountable for the following:
• Working collaboratively with the Regional Vice President, Operations.
• Preparing and coordinating flows or reporting processes on program development/modifications.
• Coordinating communications with internal and domestic partner organizations and affiliate institutions.
• Assist in completion of annual program reviews based on student and instructor evaluation data and other evaluation indicators as outlined in established program evaluation procedure.
• Regulatory bodies program submissions.
• Advisory committee facilitation.
• Quality Assurance process.
• Student Aid program submissions.
• Contribute to the risk assessment process whilst also highlighting area's for development.
• Address student concerns that have moved beyond the campus level.
• Implement internal quality audit process to ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to at all campuses with emphasis on those that address regulatory compliance.
• Sets internal audit schedule and reviews previous audits/accreditation reports to identify additional areas for audit.
• Reports on campus audit results and maintains accurate records for discussion with VP, Academics & Regulatory Affairs and Senior Management Team.
• Other related duties as assigned to support the business objectives and purpose of The EMINATA Group.

Le titulaire de ce poste répond aux demandes de renseignement des campus qui concernent les programmes et le curriculum et s'occupe de la correspondance avec les organismes et les établissements partenaires. Enfin, le Responsable de la pédagogie, de la conformité et des affaires réglementaires veille à l'application des politiques internes / externes en lien avec la conformité et les affaires réglementaires, il gère les plaintes formulées par les étudiants et assure la liaison avec les organismes de réglementation provinciaux.

Specific Responsibilities
Le Responsable de la pédagogie, de la conformité et des affaires réglementaires, dont le supérieur immédiat est le Vice-président de la pédagogie et des affaires réglementaires, a les responsabilités qui suivent :
• Collaborer avec le Vice-président régional des opérations ;
• Préparer et coordonner les différentes échéances ou la production de rapports en lien avec le développement / la modification des programmes ;
• Coordonner les communications avec les organismes partenaires et les établissements affiliés ;
• Participer à la révision annuelle des programmes en fonction des données obtenues lors des évaluations faites par les étudiants / enseignants et des autres indicateurs d'évaluations précisés dans la procédure d'évaluation des programmes ;
• Présenter les programmes aux organismes de réglementation ;
• Animer les comités consultatifs ;
• Appliquer les processus d'assurance de qualité ;
• Présenter le programme d'aide aux étudiants ;
• Participer au processus d'évaluation des risques et identifie les aspects à améliorer ;
• Gérer les préoccupations des étudiants qui n'ont pu être résolues par le personnel des campus ;
• Implémenter les processus internes de vérification de la qualité (audits) afin de s'assurer que les politiques et les procédures, et plus particulièrement celles qui concernent la conformité aux règlements, sont respectées par l'ensemble des campus ;
• Préparer le calendrier des audits internes et réviser les rapports rédigés à la suite des audits / accréditations précédents de façon à cibler des aspects à vérifier de près ;
• Rédiger des rapports pour présenter les résultats obtenus lors des audits et s'assurer de maintenir des dossiers exhaustifs et précis qui seront utilisés lors de discussions avec le Vice-président de la pédagogie et des affaires réglementaires ainsi qu'avec la haute direction ;

Under general supervision, the PN Instructor is responsible for providing instruction and facilitating student learning according to the prescribed curriculum.
General Qualification
To be successful in the Preceptor position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:
- Relevant industry skills and knowledge relating to the area of instruction
- Advanced oral and written communication skills, including presentation and facilitation
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
- Demonstrate and encourage high standards of behaviour, a professional attitude and commitment to quality service
- Ability to work cooperatively with Practicum Coordinator and student.
- Ability to consider and respond appropriately to the needs, feelings and capabilities of their student and to provide feedback and treat students equitably
Education and Experience:
- Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse (license must be current)
- A minimum of 2 years related experience
- Instructional experience and/or possession of instructor's certificate an asset
Specific Responsibilities
Reporting to the Campus Director or Campus Coordinator, the Instructor is accountable for the following:
- Dealing with students, staff and other instructors in a professional, courteous and helpful manner
- Delivering instruction that meets module and program objectives as set out in the curriculum
- Preparing lesson plans and teaching aids that utilize a variety of teaching methods which will promote the attainment of desirable goals of students
- Discussing students' progress with them individually and as a group
- Explaining the course outline and expectations to students
- Attending regular PN Committee / Department meetings
- Participating in the development and evaluation of curriculum and instructional materials, as required
- Informing the Campus Director or Campus Coordinator of any significant changes or problems that arise during a module
- Attending Instructors' meetings, as required
- Possessing a clear understanding of, and upholding, the College's policies and procedures relating to students and instructors
- Cooperating with the administration staff in the performance of their duties
- Completing required forms and records and submitting them to administration staff in a timely manner
- Maintaining relevant industry skills and knowledge
