This program prepares you to excel in dental assistant jobs. Our instructors are dental professionals who use their real-world experience to teach students the organizational and communication skills they'll need to succeed in a fast-paced dental office.

Graduates of this program will be prepared to become a dental assistant in private or public healthcare offices. CDI College supports its graduates to find dental assistant jobs by providing resume help, interviewing tips and more.

    • This course helps students identify the main bones and muscle structures that pertain to oral anatomy. Students will also match the anatomy of the different structures of the oral cavity with their respective functions and learn the process of tooth development and the classification of teeth.

    • In this course, students will learn terminology and pharmaceutical abbreviations of oral treatments. Principal medications used in dental medicine and their effects will also be examined. Students will also learn about the methods of using local anesthetics.
