Renowned boxer to share story with staff, students and public at Scarborough campus
Scarborough, ON – October 3, 2013 – CDI College is excited to welcome world-renowned motivational speaker Spider Jones to its Scarborough campus on October 8, 2013. During his presentation, Spider will share his story of overcoming adversity as an elementary school drop-out in some of North America’s toughest neighbourhoods.As a fifth grade drop-out, Spider Jones’ future did not look bright. Lured into life as a gang member, Spider found a way to turn his life around. Now, he’s sharing his story as a motivational speaker, showing people around the world that it’s never too late to make a change in your life.

Spider Jones was able to channel his street smarts in the boxing ring, becoming one of Canada’s elite boxers. Today, he travels around North America sharing his story of survival and inspiration, helping to change other people’s perspective of their own life situations.
