Toronto, ON – March 15, 2017 - CDI College is now offering the Computer-Aided Design and Drafting
Specialist program in Ontario.

to succeed in the field.
Computer-aided design (CAD) tools have become increasingly
popular in the fields of architecture and engineering, as well as applications
in other areas such as interior design, facilities management, and
construction/industry trades.
The increasing
adoption of virtual platforms for product development in manufacturing
industries is expected to drive the consumption of CAD software. – Future Market Insights
With this increased popularity comes a greater demand for
computer-aided design specialists. To meet these demands, CDI College has
developed a program with a heavy emphasis on industry relevant skills and the
necessary knowledge required to pursue a successful career.
Using industry standard AutoCAD
software, students will develop essential 2D skills before venturing into more
complex 3D modeling. There is also a practicum placement in the program, which
will allow students to practice and further develop their skills in a real work
environment while building valuable experience for their résumé.
