CDI College grads nab top spots three years in a row
Winnipeg, MB – May 6, 2011 - For the third year in a row, a CDI College alumnus has earned top honours with the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA). Our congratulations go out to Sujuan Zhang, a graduate of the Accounting and Payroll Administrator program at the Winnipeg campus, for winning the 2011 Gold Award for the CPA’s Prairie Region.
“On behalf of all of the faculty and students across Canada, we commend Sujuan on this accomplishment,” says Tahl East, Director of the Winnipeg campus. “This top honour is shared with all of our Accounting and Payroll Administrator graduates.”
As the accounting and payroll industry continues to experience high employment demands, expectations from companies are also on the rise. Post-secondary career education is a must. Combining an accounting and payroll diploma with certification from the Canadian Payroll Association’s (CPA) Payroll Compliance Practitioner program prepares students for a range of positions in the industry.
Students enrolled in CDI College’s Accounting and Payroll Administrator program benefit from hands-on training in accounting fundamentals, bookkeeping and computerized accounting software such as Simply Accounting and AccPac. They also complete the required courses for CPA certification and gain a professional membership in the association.
