New location offers career training options to residents living in Calgary South

Calgary, AB – March 23, 2011 – Students interested in pursuing careers in business, healthcare or technology have a new training option in Calgary with the opening of the new Calgary South campus. The campus is currently accepting applications for a range of programs including Accounting and Payroll Administration, Business Administration – Management, Medical Office Administration, Network and Internet Security Specialist and Oil and Gas Administration.

CDI College officials decided to launch the new location in southeast Calgary after a surge in student numbers at the existing Alberta campuses in the last few years. The Calgary South campus will allow the college to continue to meet the demands of the job market in Calgary and meet the need for skills-based training in Alberta.

The new location is the third CDI College campus in Calgary and the sixth in Alberta. According to Dr. Bohdan Bilan, Vice President of Academics, the college’s reputation has helped feed this growth.

“The business, technology and health care sectors are constantly evolving and employers in these fields look for candidates with both the credentials and the practical abilities to do the job,” says Bilan. “CDI College graduates have been consistently successful in meeting the employment requirements within these sectors.”
