Community Services Worker
The Community Services Worker program prepares students for positions in
a wide range of settings, providing a variety of community services.
Community Services Workers provide help and support to people dealing
with issues of addiction, mental illness, domestic violence, and other
social problems. Students in the Community Services Worker program will
learn how to effectively approach these issues and bring resolution to
Through coursework and field placements, students will hone their skills
and become prepared to take on the role of Community Services Worker in
less than a year. Graduates will also earn external certification in
Level 1 First Aid/CPR, Level 1 ASIST Suicide Intervention &
Prevention, and Level 1 Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NCI).
