Dental Technician Open House in Surrey

Surrey, BC – November 2, 2012 – Dental technicians design and create various products to help patients maintain ultimate oral health. Since needs differ from patient to patient, they require the comprehensive knowledge base and varied skill set that comes from fundamental training. CDI College is holding an Open House about the new Dental Technician program at its Surrey campus on November 8, 2012.

Thanks to their specialized training, dental technicians will always be in-demand. The growth of Canada’s aging population is expected increase the need for their services, as well. According to Work BC, approximately 1,040 positions will open up by 2015, the majority of which will result from retirements in the field.

Guests at the Open House will have a chance to learn more about the new Dental Technician program at CDI College, the profession and the opportunities that await them upon graduation. They’ll have a chance to chat with instructors about the program and other guests from the College of Dental Technicians of British Columbia. Along with learning about employment opportunities for graduates of this program, attendees will also hear about the benefits of training at CDI College.

In addition, guests will be able to tour the campus and check out the brand new, state-of-the-art dental lab. Admissions representatives and other campus staff will be on hand to discuss tuition and student financial aid, as well.
