You're Invited to CDI College Burnaby Campus's Dental Assisting Info Session!

May 1, 2015 | British Columbia

If you ever wanted to learn more about the dental industry before jumping in, this is your chance! CDI College’s Burnaby campus has invited experienced dental professional from Patterson Dental, Senior Dental Practice Consultant Michelle Bedard, to speak at an upcoming info session on May 7th at 2pm.

With over 12 years of experience in the dental industry, Bedard is more than qualified to share her insights about how the front and backend of the industry operates. Having become a Certified Dental Assistant in 1990, Bedard moved on to obtain her Provincial Instructor Diploma as well as an Associate Sales Certificate years later. With extensive knowledge on the frontend of the dental assisting profession partnered with backend understanding and execution in marketing, training, and sales of dental products, equipment, and software, Bedard will be able to provide students with the information and answers they seek prior to studying or entering the field.

CDI College’s Dental Assisting program is one of the most in-demand programs offered and is only one of three private Dental Assisting programs in British Columbia to be accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC). Taught by industry professionals, students in the 45-week diploma program are trained in state-of-the-art dental labs right on campus. Students will also have the opportunity to develop and master their skills in a real-world setting through practicum placements in a dental setting.

CDI College is committed to delivering world-class training and it shows. Our graduates have demonstrated the outstanding quality of training they have received by repeatedly achieving 97-100% passing rates on the National Dental Assisting Examination Board (NDAEB).

As part of the dental team, graduates will have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities in a dental office. Aside from technical duties such as assisting the dentist in treatments and procedures, these oral healthcare professionals are also responsible for promoting and educating patients on oral health, maintaining a sterile work environment, and more.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to pick the brains of our guest speaker but also the instructors on what CDI College’s 45-week Dental Assisting diploma programhas to offer!

Join us on Thursday, May 7th from 2-7pm at our Burnaby campus (5021 Kingsway Ave., Suite #500)!
