Vancouver, BC – September 2, 2011 – Join us for a fun and informative night at a CDI campus near you - and spread the word through social media. Simply check-in to a CDI campus during the open house and you’ll be entered to win big prizes like a $100 iTunes gift card.

CDI College campuses across the country will open their doors to prospective students on September 14, 2011 from 4:00-7:00pm. This is a chance to learn more about the latest training programs, meet instructors and staff members and find out why CDI College is right for you!

Visitors are encouraged to announce their arrival at the open house by checking into foursquare, posting to CDI College’s Facebook page or sending out a tweet. The first ten people to arrive at each campus and check into the event using social media will receive a free CDI College T-shirt.  All attendees who check in through Foursquare, Facebook or Twitter will be entered into a draw to win a $100 iTunes gift card!

Three ways to enter the social media contest*:

Foursquare

• Sign up with foursquare (www.foursquare.com) using your Facebook login info. You can also create account using your email.
• Download foursquare application to your iPhone, Android or Blackberry phone for easy check-ins.
• Link Foursquare to your Facebook or Twitter accounts to share your check-ins with friends.
• Check-in to the Open House on Sept. 14, 2011 between 4:00-7:00pm and show it to someone on campus. 

Facebook

• Head to CDI College’s website on your smartphone.
• Click on the Facebook link.
• Sign in and post your arrival at the open house on CDI College’s Facebook page.
• Show it to someone on campus as you arrive. 

Twitter

• Head to CDI College’s website on your smartphone.
• Click on the Twitter link.
• Sign in and post your arrival at the open house on Twitter by including @CDICollege in your tweet. You can also use the hashtag  #cdicollegeopenhouse
• Show it to someone on campus as you arrive.

These are the easiest ways to participate, but feel free to be inventive by posting pictures, videos, etc., to let people know you’re thinking about going back to school. Make the first step toward your future career and don’t forget to check-in!
