Winnipeg, MB – December 10, 2012 – Staff and students at CDI College in Winnipeg are appealing to your sweet tooth in order to help out a good cause this week. The college will hold a fundraising craft and bake sale on December 14, 2012 with all proceeds going to the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society.
“Whether they’re raising funds or raising awareness, CDI College staff and students continue to find ways to get involved with so many great community causes,” says Larry Heinzlmeir, CDI College’s VP of Marketing. “The craft and bake sale at the Winnipeg campus will undoubtedly be another example of what the campuses can do for their communities when they work together.”
With the holiday season fast approaching, the craft and bake sale at CDI College in Winnipeg is a perfect place to pick up some hand crafted gifts for friends. Anyone looking for some homemade sweets will find a number of tasty options to choose from. Pick up a tray of treats to take home or back to the office to share with co-workers.
The craft and bake sale runs from 11:00am to 2:00pm on Friday, December 14, 2012 at CDI College in Winnipeg. All funds raised will be donated to the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society (MSS), a non-profit community-based mental health organization. Founded in 1979, MSS is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by schizophrenia and psychosis through education, peer support programs, public policy and research.
