South Surrey

The South Surrey campus is located near a wide range of cafes, shops, and services nearby so students can run errands, shop for groceries, or grab a bite to eat just steps from the campus.

In addition, the campus is within walking distance to a number of residential areas, making it easier for those who live in the neighbourhood to train for a new career close to home. Students can also visit one of the local parks and green spaces to get some fresh air after class.

Things to do in South Surrey
Surrey truly is the City of Parks and South Surrey has its fair share of them. Explore the nature trails at Bell Estates Park. Check out the stunning water views at 1001 Steps Park. Build sand castles down at Crescent Beach or have a blast with your kids on the swings at Fun Fun Park. Whether you’re looking to hike through the forest, take the kids to the playground, or have a family picnic, you’ll find the perfect space in South Surrey.

In addition, you’ll find a wealth of recreational activities in the area. From drop-in sports like badminton and volleyball to fitness classes and boot camps, the South Surrey Recreation Centre is sure to have something for you. Feel like taking a dip? Head over to the South Surrey Indoor Pool for some laps or swim lessons. Get some ice time on the Olympic-sized rink at the South Surrey Arena.

Spend an afternoon sightseeing in historic Cloverdale, home to the Surrey Museum and Archives. Settled in the late-1800s, Cloverdale retains some of its small-town heritage feel and has become a popular location for filming movies and television productions.

If you feel like getting in a little retail therapy, you can shop till you drop at Guildford Town Centre, one of the biggest shopping malls in British Columbia. Score some designer deals at the Shops at Morgan Creek and then relax on a patio at any of South Surrey’s fine restaurants.
