Opportunity to learn how CDI College trains for the most in-demand careers

Vancouver, BC – August 27, 2015 – Choosing a career can be daunting, but CDI College hopes to take the mystery out of the process at its National Open House tonight! The event will highlight some of today’s hottest job prospects and underscore how CDI College’s curriculum is developed to meet the needs of these industries.

According to Stats Canada, many sectors across the country saw tremendous growth in recent months and several more have promising outlooks for years to come. CDI College bases its training options on what’s most in-demand and works closely with industry experts to plan, build and update programs on a regular basis.

Some of the fields with the biggest growth potential currently include administrative and support services, healthcare and social assistance, and hospitality and tourism. CDI College offers training programs1 in all of these areas, including Business Administration, Accounting and Payroll Administrator, Medical Office Assistant, Practical Nursing, Social Services Worker Foundations, Event Planner, Hospitality Management, and dozens more.

At the upcoming Open House, staff and faculty will be on hand to discuss career options, give tours of the campus and answer questions about available programs. Those who attend and check-in at the front desk will also have a chance to qualify for a $1,000 scholarship2 that can be put toward their tuition.

With over 25 campuses across Canada, CDI College has trained thousands of Canadians over the past 40 years. Graduates have gone on to work in law offices, hospitals, corporate headquarters, banks, medical offices, and even launched their own small businesses.
