Four out of five grads find employment in their field within six months of graduation

Vancouver, BC – September 4, 2013 – CDI College is committed to helping grads find work in the fields they’ve trained for. In 2012, four out of five CDI College grads found work in their field of choice in the six months following graduation! Employers looking for candidates with real world training are often impressed with CDI College grad’s ability to hit the ground running. Grads have already had the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience through practicum placements and are sometimes hired by their practicum hosts before they even graduate.

CDI College grads also have access to the online job preparation software, Optimal Resume.  Here, grads can create online resumes, cover letters and personal websites to showcase their skills. The service also includes career exploration tools, action words, automatic spell checking, and a range of styling options that allow users to build each resume with the best presentation possible. The service also allows users to easily share their credentials on Twitter and LinkedIn.

On ground, CDI College Employment Specialists can present grads with job postings before they reach the general public. Many companies and businesses will turn to CDI College to fill a position first, knowing they’ll be able to find well-trained individuals without hassle.
