Oil and gas industry set to invest $67.3 billion in Canada in 2012
Edmonton, AB – January 31, 2012 – CDI College is now offering its popular Oil and Gas Administration program at campuses in Edmonton West and Calgary South in order to meet the demand for qualified industry professionals to help this booming industry.
Alberta is home to more than 96% of Canada’s oil reserves and the oil and gas industry is looking to spend more than $67 billion in 2012 in new exploration and development projects. All over the province, companies big and small will be in need of knowledgeable staff to keep their operations running smoothly, and the Oil and Gas Administration program at CDI College will give students the training they need to join this exciting field.
The Oil and Gas Administration program covers important topics like oil and gas foundations, oil and gas management, and fundamental office skills like word processing, accounting and office procedures.
Graduates of the Oil and Gas program have gone on to find jobs across Alberta as office managers, administrative assistants, receptionists and executive assistants for a variety of oil and gas companies.
