CDI College’s Dental Assisting diploma program covers the essential components of the dental assisting profession, including dental care, oral pathology and radiography. Students also learn to assist dentists with patients during treatments, perform infection control, keep records and perform practice management and administrative duties. Along with classroom instruction and practical learning experiences in the lab, students participate in practical placements working with a dentist in a private practice.
CDI College’s Dental Assisting program is the only private Dental Assisting program in BC to be accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC)
. Graduates of this program are only required to write the theory exam necessary for licensing.
